When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (managed securely by Supabase Authentication). We also collect your industry preferences, preferred regions, and source configurations to personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the BidCatch service: monitoring public tender sources, filtering results based on your preferences, and sending email notifications about new tenders. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Sources
BidCatch aggregates publicly available tender and procurement data from government and municipal websites. This data is publicly accessible and intended for public consumption. We do not access private or restricted content.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate BidCatch:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Resend — Email delivery
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Tender data extraction and classification
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and managed by Supabase. Any stored credentials for authenticated sources are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and tender history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
